5. Code and Content

5.1 Your Code

You retain all ownership rights to code you submit. By submitting code, you grant us a limited license to process it for providing explanations and improving our Service. We do not claim ownership of your code or use it to train AI models.

5.2 Generated Explanations

Explanations generated by our Service are provided for informational purposes. You may use them for personal and commercial purposes. However, explanations are generated by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies.

5.3 Responsibility

You are solely responsible for ensuring that code you submit does not violate any laws, confidentiality agreements, or third-party rights. Do not submit code containing trade secrets, personal data, or sensitive information unless you have proper authorization.

6. Subscription and Payments

6.1 Free Tier

We offer a free tier with limited usage. Free tier features and limits may change at any time without notice.

6.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring fees until you cancel.

• Billing: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Price Changes: We may change prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.
• Refunds: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you are not satisfied within 14 days of purchase, contact us for a full refund. After 14 days, subscriptions are non-refundable except where required by law.

• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

AI-generated explanations may contain errors. Always verify critical information independently. Do not rely solely on our explanations for production code decisions.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXPLAINTHISCODE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
